Our “individual” students are a mixed bunch, from young singles to newly divorced or widowed and people who have a partner but choose to dance solo. At Social Dance Company there is no “one size fits all” approach, each lesson program is tailored specifically to suit your dance goals. As an individual student you will have regular private lessons with a core instructor, but you’ll also get to meet (and dance) with other students at your level in weekly Group Classes. Our twice a month social evenings are legendary and there is no shortage of dance partners as we have an informal “no wallflower” policy so everyone gets to dance.

Our no pressure, complimentary lesson gives you a chance to check us out and see how we work. We’ll buy you a coffee, show you around, get to know a bit about why you want to dance and get you on the dance floor to show you a few steps. It’s easy and fun.

    There are no contracts at Social Dance Company, if you decide to continue after your complimentary lesson you simply book and pay per lesson. Your lesson fee also includes a weekly group class for practice and twice monthly socials.
